What's a good response to the question about "What are my strengths and weakness?"
Construction candidates should know their strengths as they relate to the construction position prior to an interview. These strengths should be narrowed down to those few that give you your greatest competitive advantage (perhaps your 20 years in the business, strong people and client skills, technical expertise, flagship accomplishments, projects and credentials, etc.). Never give more than 4 strengths since it is important to have the construction employer remember your strengths after you leave- too much information will cause many employers to forget the one or two critical differences that make you unique for the role. When giving weaknesses, you should always state things that don't hurt your image or chances for hire- statements like I work to hard, or look out for the employer more than myself are best.
