We are committed to helping Hawaii grow healthy food, produce clean energy, and find new solutions to sustainable water and land management. Despite its favorable climate and strong natural resources, Hawaii currently imports roughly 85% of its food and 90% of its energy (oil). Bio-Logical Capital would like to use Stewardship Development to help reverse these trends.

We have made Hawaii a priority region for investment and opened an office in Honolulu in early 2011. Bio-Logical Capital is exploring many project opportunities throughout the islands, including a joint venture with Pattern Energy that could provide 200 MW of clean energy from the island of Molokai. This project could help Hawaii achieve its energy goals by reducing its reliance on oil, while also providing significant community benefits and economic opportunities for Molokai.
