I have experience in many areas of the construction industry. For example, conventional lumber framing, cold formed steel framing, sheetrock hanging and finishing. I have installed countertops, cabinets, standing and running trim, doors and hardware (commercial and residential.) I am proficient in concrete forming and finishing, ironworking welding, cut-off torches setting steel. I am capable of operating any piece of equipment on the job site; bulldozers, backhoes, skid loaders, sky tracks, articulated boom vehicles, R/Os and cranes. I can set up and operate a theatolite, laser, and a builder’s level for establishing grade and benchmarks. I hold current First Aid and CPR certifications, 10-hour OSHA and 15-hour OSHA Clarity certifications. I am excellent in material estimation (take off) including ordering, planning, scheduling and coordination of projects. I have managed anywhere from five to sixty tradesmen onsite at one time. I am proficient with current computer programs and qualified to write construction schedules. Generate punch lists for trades, Quality control on a daily basis. Military Experience
1981-1989 United States Marine Corps traveled the world while on active duty, saw combat action in Beirut 1983 and in Panama in 1987 was wounded, received a Bronze Star and was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in combat, awarded numerous other medals, awards and citations, achieved the rank of Sergeant and was Honorably Discharged May 1989.
