• Managed a major plant expansion working with regulatory agencies, engineers, architects and a variety of contractors to deliver an on-time / on-budget quality facility.
• Managed vendors from around the world to create specifications, purchase, install and start-up complicated automated processes. Traveled extensively to oversee the build and buyoff process for all new equipment. Managed a capital budget in excess of $25M.
• Designed and installed a transfer process that increased machine flexibility, productivity and overall efficiency from 60% to over 95% OEE. This project saved the company over $5M in cost avoidance by using existing equipment versus purchasing new.
• Worked with various vendors and managed a major infrastructure improvement project that provided further plant expansion.

• Implemented preventive maintenance programs that allowed the plant to achieve TS 16949 Certification. First plant in the group to complete the certification process.
• Re-designed the weld assembly area, which was reviewed by the Toyota Global Team and was determined to be world class. Toyota adopted the layout in their own operations.
• Re-designed production processes to eliminate or minimize downtime. Achieved a 95% uptime rating for the plant, creating the opportunity for additional work due to newly expanded capacity.
• Supervised a staff of 45 full-time employees, and managed a department budget of $5M.
