• Master Craftsman in charge of the repairing and restoration of furniture and helping train coworkers in proper technics.
• Recommending if furniture should be salvaged for repair or scraped
• Replacing parts from mfg. For case goods chairs, if parts were available if not making parts such as panels, moldings, tops, legs, carving missing parts with flowers, turning legs or parts for posts veneering panels and replacing some inlay veneers.
• Working knowledge and skill in the following tools; table saw, band saw, joiner, thickness planer, biscuit joiner, scroll saw, routers, lathe, caliper, divider, carving tools, chisels, etc…
• Knowledge of various adhesives, such as Gorilla Glue, Titebond II, Hot Stuff and Express Glue.
• Can understand and read sketches and drawings.

Twenty years experience in home building, all phases from the ground up, including working with customers, 1 ½ year commercial building-condos and commercial buildings. Seven years in a furniture repair shop.
Six ½ years installing wine racking and saunas in customer’s homes. Supervising four employees and scheduling installs.
