QUALIFICATIONS
I am able to read blueprints and specifications on all sizes of projects. I am very detail-oriented on all plans and specs, making sure to get every material involved in the building process. I have worked in the field and understand the sequence involved in construction, such that I have been able to cut costs and improve the flow of projects. I have experience working with General Contractors, Architects, Project Managers, Owners, Subcontactors, in negotiating bids and finishing projects from the ground up. I have worked with a wide variety of people from the construction crew to CEO of a corporation. I present a very professional appearance.
WORK HISTORY
DDS Masonry Owner 2001 – Present
Commercial and custom residential masonry contractor. I have worked with several General Contractors on various jobs including office buildings, strip malls, warehouses, restaurants, churches, fitness centers, and other design-build projects. Employed over 20 masons and laborers at multiple job sites, while fulfilling a supervisory role. Handled the bidding and estimating for all jobs, including extensive input in changes in the projects to better improve costs, function and aesthetics. I have strong negotiating skills that I have utilized to secure materials at reduced costs.

Work with staff on recruiting strategies to find and source candidates for major corporations in a wide variety of technical disciplines. Directly work with CIO’s, Directors, Corporate Recruiters, Applications Managers and Project Managers to help find candidates for their job requisitions.
Masonry Design Owner 1987 – 1995
Industrial and commercial construction contractor. Projects included warehouses, schools, malls, bowling alleys and churches. In the early stages of the company, I worked with my tools and supervised a crew of 20 men. I did most of the estimating, sales and project management. The average masonry projects were in the $250K range.

Worked on various commercial and industrial projects. Began as an apprentice Mason and worked my way into foreman and took over as estimator in 1985.
