QUALIFICATIONS AND RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
J & M Contracting
As the sole proprietor of J & M Electrical, I am responsible for all aspects of managing a small business. After successfully estimating and bidding a project, I implement the schedule necessary to complete the project in the time frame required. For larger projects, I work as the general contractor and hire additional qualified workers to assist me in finishing the job. I also maintain accurate accounting records and submit invoices for payment.
Home Depot
For the last 6 years, I have worked part-time for The Home Depot. I have assist customers while they are in the store and teach classes to both Home Depot employees and customers on basic electrical projects.
QFC Remodels
My duties included working in conjunction with both management and the customers to schedule projects. Oversaw the scheduling of daily tasks for the crews to complete the jobs on time and below budget. In addition, I worked in the office as an Estimator. As a Service Manager, I was responsible for scheduling jobs, bidding and overseeing service truck employees, their equipment, tools and service vehicles.
Microsoft’s TI and service work
While reporting to a service manager, I performed progress billing and completed all jobs under 50K while working at individuals homes and businesses.
Pike’s Place Corner Market remodeling.
My duties included a full remodel of the corner market lighting and power system requirements for both existing and new tenants. In addition, a new complete fire suppression system was installed.
Tully’s remodel in old Seattle’s Rainer Brewery.
My duties included removal and demolition of the existing electrical equipment. Working directly with the owner in planning and implementing the configuration of the new power supply for the coffer roasting equipment and any future growth needs.
Started in the electrical field in 1984 with Elcon Electrical Contractors in Seattle, Washington.
Worked as an electrician, lead electrician, job supervisor and service truck electrician. Worked and oversaw various high-rise projects in Seattle. My responsibilities included cable tray installation, floor to floor bus system 120-480 volt three phase systems, transformer installation, relock lighting systems, and the installation of fire alarm systems and video monitoring.
