Termite Pest Control Inspector: From 1975 to 1988
Structural and sanitation inspections with detailed reports of corrective recommendations, cost estimates, and accurate labeled diagrams. As a Route Supervisor, I hired and fired employees and provided training. Also responsible for purchasing, inventory control, public relations, sales and trouble shooting of reoccurring infestations. I rebuilt and maintained high pressure sprayers, and other equipment; maintained vehicle and equipment service records. I performed all phases of structural repairs and finish work and all phases of pest control including identification of pests, determining the best, most cost effective way to correct adverse conditions and selection of pesticides, insecticides, rodent baits / traps and fungicides. I supervised sub-contractors and crew members.
Coachman Industries: From 1988 to 1990
Lead supervisor for Mobile Home and trailer manufacture. Primarily responsible for the roofing and exterior section of production. Responsible for the training and supervision of five to six people and staging of materials for efficient production. Work included roofing, installation of roof vent skylights, AC units, exterior siding, insulation, windows, doors, lights, steps and grab handles. Forklift certified.
