2008- VP Sales/Business Development for Hoosier Prestress Inc., responsible for contracting sales and erection services for manufactured precast building components such as beams and columns, double T's, structural wall panels, decking and plank for floors and roofs. HPI also provided turnkey erection services with in-house crew's and equipment for these products. Responsible for existing accounts and building new relationship and contract services to expand and extend our operation of Midwest services from (2) manufacturing facilities for these products and services.
2002-2008 REGIONAL SALES MANAGER for Fabcon, LLC, precast/prestressed concrete wall panel manufacturer from four plant facilities from Minneapolis across the mid-west and east to Pennsylvania with sales responsibility for $25-$30M in precast product. Answered directly to the Corporate VP of sales. My responsibilities included business development and marketing for Fabcon’s Central region of operations which included two sales offices and two plant locations( Indianapolis, IN, and Columbus, OH). Further responsibilities included sales operation budgeting, E-commerce development and implementation, estimating input and analysis for all produced products. Responsible for developing Central Region A.O.P (annual operating plan) for sales forecasting, P&L margin monitoring; forcasting my sales volumes for each of the four plant locations as well as first line of contact for sales, service, business development and customer retention in my Midwest region and overlapping business in adjacent regions. I directly managed a total of 3-4 sales associates and supported six project managers on a daily project-per-project basis.
2000-2002 DIVISION SALES MANAGER for Liberty Building Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Butler Manufacturing Company and managed by the Butler Buildings Division for whom I had previously worked. Liberty Building Systems was a new startup division with regional design, manufacturing and sales responsibility targeted for the Mid-South metal building market. I was direct support staff to the Division General Manager with management responsibilities for sales operation budgeting, E-commerce development and implementation, estimating implementation. A.O.P Sales forecasting, P&L margin monitoring. First line of contract for sales, service, business development and customer retention along with P&L responsibilities for $18-20M in sales for my territory and direct support and management of 12 district sales associates scattered in primary cities of the Midsouth region.
1996-2000 REGIONAL FIELD MANAGER for BUTLER MANUFACTURING COMPANY, Hardwall Structural System Group; a venture group within Butler’s Building Division. My responsibilities included sales management, Business development and pre-construction services support for Hardwall Systems in two of its largest producing regions with $10M-$15M in steel system sales while supporting (10) district sales associates.
1993-1996 DISTRICT SALES MANAGER for STEELOX BUILDING SYSTEMS, Inc., Office located in Richmond, VA. Job description: Business Development, sales management, and pre-construction services. A.O.P sales forecasting, annual business and marketing plan design and implementation for Mid-Atlantic region with sales responsibility for $5M-10M and managed 3 sales associates.
1991-1993 Business Development/Sales/Pre-construction services for L. D. Clark, Inc., General contractor specializing in hardball building systems utilizing CON-STEEL, INC., methods of engineering and design. Established dealer for Butler Building Systems. Sales responsibility for $5M territory.
1990-1991 Business Development/Sales/Pre-Construction services for Morgan Keller, Inc. General contractor engaged in commercial and industrial construction. Metal building dealer for Varco-Pruden Building system utilizing precast and tilt-wall construction methods. M-K was also a licensed CON-STEEL tilt-wall systems contractor.
1980-1990 Owner C. H. MOORE & Associates, Inc., a general contracting company engaged in land development, commercial and industrial building construction managing 20 full time employees. Metal building dealer for ARMCO BUILDING SYSTEMS. Established and owned THE OVERHEAD DOOR CO., with three regional sales offices and managing 12 full time employees.
