• Solicited, analyzed, published and mapped informational requirements and functional requirements to business use cases for creation of customer file management system: Single View of Customer (SVOC) / Single View of Policy (SVOP). SVOC and SVOP are J2EE virtualized application development projects involving DB2 (UDB and mainframe) integrations.
• Conducted and lead two Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Regulatory Compliance audits for financial aspect of company; analyzed results of audit; created Gap Analysis for corrective actions; and, created Corrective Action Plan to close all gaps. SOX audit included Section 302 and 404 compliance and areas of the Model Audit Rule (Annual Financial Reporting Model Regulation). This project required extensive interface and cooperation with P&C business lines and P&C IT.
• Lead team in reducing CICS Test Region unavailability from 4 hours to 45 minutes. Total cost savings of more than $65,000 annually.
• Created and managed Risk & Issues Management Plan for migration of large data center including mainframe, databases, and distributed (virtual) systems from Cleveland, OH to Columbus, OH.
• Achieved >150% of targeted savings of $5MM (USD) for PCIT in Mainframe, Distributed Systems costs reductions. Target of $5MM exceeded with total realized savings equaling more than $7.5MM.
• Created processes and procedures using ITIL/ITSM methodologies for Performance Engineering team providing guidance to Industry Best Practices leading to Performance Center of Excellence
• Lead team in eliminating more than 1400 annual 3rd Party Vendor data tapes and migrate all 3rd Party Vendor data to Secure File Transfer protocols. Project was recognized by Enterprise Security as “completed early and best managed project observed in recent times.â€

• Lead team in the building and testing of a centralized mainframe computer for a nuclear power facility to replace seven smaller mainframes currently in place at the plant. This system would be responsible for the monitoring and reporting of more than 750,000 surveillance points throughout the facility.
