· Designed and built biological wastewater plant to successfully handle 50,000 gallons of wastewater daily, at the Koppers wood preserving plant in Kansas City, MO. plant.
· Responsible for design and management of construction of the $200 K storm water discharge system under the NPDES permit.
· 20+ years experience with POTW permitting, RCRA (hazardous waste) compliance and reporting, Title V air permitting, asbestos removal projects.
· 4 years of working with lawyers on environmental lawsuits.
· Directed the closure of three facilities and completed all environmental cleanup as part of the demolition. This included the removal of RCRA regulated wastes and asbestos removal projects.
· Hazwhoper trained annually at Kerr McGee.
· Installation of new wastewater treatment for contaminated ground water recovery system during plant closure phase. Supervised and monitored the new system to ensure permit compliance.
Safety
· Attained the coveted OSHA STAR status for employee safety at the Kerr McGee Columbus, MS. facility in 1998. This award was earned for excellent employee safety record and safety programs and procedures in place.
· 2001 we re-certified with OSHA audit our STAR status for three more years.
