SUMMARY:
I bring nearly 20 years of Safety to the table. Over 10 of those have been directly related to health and safety. Most recently I was the Site Safety Manager for the Imperial Sugar Refiner rebuild. As such I was responsible for everything from Contractor Pre-qualification to Contractor safety to Training and including discipline. Prior to that, I spent 4 years as a Process Safety Management engineer. However, during this time I served as construction safety for several construction projects within that company, including building construction and process expansion. I have also been involved in construction safety as an independent consultant prior to this with Rowe & Rowe Regulatory Rescue. I was involved in construction safety auditing, safety consulting with contractors as construction sites and management of smaller projects. All told I have 3-4 years of construction safety experience. My varied career path makes me an excellent candidate as it ensures that my eyes are open to safety issues from a variety of angles.
