Summary of Qualifications
1988 – 2010
Heavy Equipment Operator / Foreman / Project Manager / President CEO
Through out my career I have worked for various Contractors here in the Central Valley. I spent the first part of my career working for smaller private non-union Contractors which offered me the opportunity to learn multiple positions and operate several different pieces of heavy equipment. As a Foreman I was able to transition from doing Grading & Paving in the summer, and continue working installing underground utilities in the winter.
I spent 6 years in the Operators Local 3 Union and worked for Granite, Morrison Knutson, Agee Construction, Garrett Construction, Jaxon Baker, and others. As an operator I am pretty well rounded. I can cut finish grade with a blade (and have worked on several projects subject to Cal Trans Specifications), dig trench with a backhoe, production load materials onto trucks, and everything else in between.
I have worked with Laser set-ups on equipment and I am also experienced with the Ag Tek Systems.
I can read Blueprints, do job layout, survey, and set grade as well.
I withdrew from the Union to work as Project Manager for a Housing Developer for 8 years in which my primary objective was to plan, schedule, and oversee the onsite and offsite development of multiple subdivisions. My duty was to manage the projects from the clearing and grubbing of vacant land, to finaling punch list items for City acceptance. With this new position I was able to expand my construction knowledge by working closely with the Engineers who designed the projects, as well working with the City on various job related issues throughout the process.
I currently hold the position of President / CEO / RMO of Bulldog Grading & Paving, Inc. (dba) Infrared Technologies. With this position I have dramatically increased my knowledge of how a business operates and what it takes to keep it going. Due to unforeseen circumstances, my business partner and I have decided to dissolve our collective efforts of working together, which is why I am actively seeking other employment opportunities.
