Nuclear Project Engineer, Ship Construction, U.S. Department of Defense from 1988 – 1995 with Newport News Shipbuilding, provider of design, construction, and repair of nuclear-powered aircraft carriers and submarines for U.S. Navy. Orchestrated all phases for construction of nuclear Seawolf-class aircraft carriers and submarines. Performed pipeline design and installation along with hydraulic systems, and inspected system boundaries and testing apparatus for proper installation and operation of equipment. Drafted and modified nuclear drawings to meet government requirements and specifications.
