Peri Formworks – Formwork Sales Engineer, Coral Springs, FL 5/2004 – 6/2008
Grew sales from zero to $1.2 M first 8 months to $4.2 M in 2007 sales with $3.2 M canceled by Peri for lack of equipment.
Created forming and shoring solutions for many of South Florida’s most challenging projects.
Created innovative additions and changes to existing equipment to meet South Florida’s needs.
Formulated a marketing strategy that took a stagnate product into a market success.
Trained engineering staff in best design practices for Peri’s horizontal shoring products.

Created a construction process for Rite Aid stores that reduced our footprint and disruption to ongoing operations that beat the national average for sale drop-off during remodeling of stores
Estimated, sold and prepared contracts for high profile customers in commercial, manufacturing and retail business performing new construction, major remodeling, building repairs, and TI work.
Managed all work that I bid and sold, created work schedule, change orders and managed P&L.
Designed and built a 10,000-gallon underground concrete water storage tank built in an operating plastic extrusion plant without undermining the structural walls and columns. Designed a construction process and forming systems to form and pour the entire tank-base, walls and lid monolithically.

Designed a method that allowed the upper stepped level decks cast in place before the lower level decks due to lack of crane access.

Invented and patented a new product for the natural gas and municipal water utility industry.

Managed $8 million civil works project for a remote hydroelectric project.
Managed cofferdam installation, created dewatering procedures and maintenance program.
Designed, managed, procured and designed all concrete powerhouse formwork including the draft tube forming system to supported 10’ of overhead concrete.
Managed drilling, blasting, powerhouse excavation and deep slope soil nailed trench.
Invented method to install safely 10, 40’L of 10’ dia. pipe section down a 60° slope without crane.
Managed two 12-hour work crews of 60 personnel and several sub contract trades.

Barnard Construction Seattle, WA 5/1992 - 1/1993
Entered Mid Project – Company was having a difficult time performing the concrete work to the designed standards. I restored the relationship through honesty, training and quality craftsmanship.
Designed all concrete formwork constructed by carpenters.
Managed all concrete work performed: new 50’H concrete spillway extension, two large valve vault chambers, four massive thrust blocks, ½ mile of penstock supports and discharge center.
Installation of 86” OD steel penstock supply lines.
Worked extensively with project owners, Seattle Water Works Department, on design changes and negotiated several project change orders.
Managed environmental aspects of project in a Seattle’s environmentally sensitive watershed reservoir area.

Redesigned an existing failed dam to be able to pass 100-year flood flows by enlarging structure with a new flood flow spillway, gate structure, stop log flood control gates and canal entrance.
