. Oversight of 8 North America locations and collaboration for 2 European locations. Directed multi-
location contract negotiations, terms and conditions development and cost controls. Increased
communication and work efficiencies through cross-location teamwork and best practice sharing.
. Directed strategic sourcing initiatives across Huck and with other Alcoa businesses. Achieved $7+
million in annual cost savings and created optimal leveraged agreements.
. Managed supplier negotiation and optimization. Strengthened the supply base by reducing the
number of suppliers by 60 percent and introducing more capable suppliers.
. Streamlined the procurement process through optimized processes. Increased procurement’s
efficiency through standardized use of e-procurement tools (i.e., Alcoa Mall and reverse auctions –
Black Belt for this process).
. Oracle ERP implementation. A single common system to improve data collection for spend

location contract negotiations, terms and conditions development and cost controls. Coordinated
$1.5 billion in spend and obtained annual procurement savings of $30 million.
. Managed the headquarters’ procurement department. Obtained cost savings of 10 percent per year.
. Operations development for a buyers and suppliers’ e-marketplace. Provided direction for Alcoa’s
strategic procurement initiatives.

. Directed the strategic sourcing and leveraged procurement initiatives for the 3 Cordant companies.
Directed multi-location contract negotiations, terms and conditions development and cost controls.
Coordinated $1.3 billion in spend and obtained annual procurement savings of $20 million.
. Managed the headquarters’ procurement department. Obtained cost savings of 10 percent per year.
. Administered the executive vehicle fleet program. Implemented an acquisition process that saved
5 percent per vehicle.
Corporate real estate
. Directed corporate real estate disposition, acquisition and leasing. Created new guidelines and cost
saving objectives.
. Coordinated with internal and external sources the sale and lease of properties, totaling $40+ million.
Corporate Facilities
. Provided facility management direction (for headquarters and business units) – design and
construction, office services, maintenance, corporate safety, shipping and receiving.
. Completed the design, construction and furniture compliment of Cordant’s 60,000sf corporate
headquarters in 1999 (including the relocation of 100 employees). It was an award winning, Class A
office done with-in budget and exceeded management’s expectations.
. Successfully enhanced the operation of the company owned conference center and improved its
financial performance by 30 percent.
Headquarters position at a newly formed corporation. Results of this position included:
. Worked with all levels of management to maintain the office, relocate employees and perform
necessary construction. Negotiated savings of 15 percent per year through use of in-house and
outside resources.
. Provided procurement services (negotiated, awarded and wrote contracts) to a division of the
company for real estate acquisition and leasing, consultant agreements, computer hardware/software,
transportation, refrigeration services, and mobile office trailers. Obtained annual cost savings of
l0 percent.
