Discovery Land Company is a privately owned development company specializing in the creation of world-class golf resorts and residential communities. Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club is a $500M 520 acre project that includes 378 custom luxury homes, 180-slip marina, service pier, beach guest club, resort and spa, marketing center, plant nursery and Tom Fazio-designed golf course. Project can be referenced at:
• Oversee 140+ onsite contractors and construction personnel to monitor and direct development and construction activities; lead team of up to 175 development personnel, accounting, and development managers
• Led design of development including, engineering and construction teams to implement all civil improvements and completed $70M infrastructure including water and wastewater treatment and power generating plants operational by 2009.
• Coordinated the completion of the Environmental Impact Assessment; managed design development and construction of all infrastructure, residences, resort plans. Recovered rare and valuable native plants and species.
• Obtained government entitlements and all project approvals in only 11 months; by 2009 the marina, the marketing center, the Inn, the plant nursery and all infrastructure projects were operational.

• In charge of all aspects of 640 acre Indian Ridge Country Club from development, resort operations, to HOA set-up; this project included 36 holes of golf, a 22Ks.f. health spa and sports complex and 44K s.f. clubhouse; this project received the National Housing Quality Silver Award in 2000 – awarded to less than 1%
• Created, developed and implemented company’s quality systems and TQM processes; ensured standards and documentation were in compliance with ISO9000.

Additionally, recruited and hired deployment team for Bellasara and Anthem in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mapped out all development and met all start-up project milestones and schedules. • Developed the company’s Quality Systems Review (QSR) for trades’ contractor qualification which was based on ISO9000 standards; ensured all divisions and subcontractors managed quality systems.
