Qualifications:
• Twenty five years experience in home renovations, additions and new construction to include foundations, structural steel, framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, sheetrock, painting, trim work and cabinet fabrication.
• Knowledge of all phases of construction operations and jobsite management.
• Responsible for jobsite operations, including all onsite subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, clients; and their representatives’ activities. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to communicate with all parties involved in construction projects.
• Ability to analyze and construct details as indicated on construction drawings.
• Establishes, coordinates, and implements construction schedules, material and equipment requirements in accordance with planned engineering and construction schedules.
• Monitors manpower requirements, efficiency, and productivity of construction crews. Organizes and allocates the workforces in various areas to maintain adequate manpower balance for various scheduled construction activities.
• Provides technical direction in construction methods to craftsman, supervisors and foremen to attain required quality control.
• Maintains production controls and verifies the construction progress at prescribed intervals including preparation of AIA construction draw forms.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.
• Experience in railroad coach car restorations using solid mahogany and cherry wall panels, ceiling panels and custom made cabinetry.
