Job Description:
Requirements: BS, Engineering. 10+ years of mechanical/electrical engineering or environmental work experience, eight of which are directly related to energy projects, including: renewable energy, smart microgrid, and energy audits. Must have prior experience managing DoD energy projects. Job Description: Position will build and manage an Energy business area in the federal and commercial sectors using existing federal contracts and new commercial contracts. Essential duties include, but are not limited to: strategic business planning; recruiting/hiring and proactively managing

Energy Management Staff (managers, technical staff, support staff and extended staff from all Divisions in a matrix environment), marketing and sales. Responsible for customer satisfaction, revenue, profits, and the safe operation of Energy Management initiatives. Responsible for developing price quotes and proposal backup, preparation of annual business plans, sales plans, and operating budgets while providing oversight to assure that profit margins are maintained at the stated goals. Responsible for attaining sales (revenue) targets by directing staff (Project Managers) with effective listening and selling skills. Providing technical review and evaluation services for innovative installation energy technology projects

and other energy areas within the individual?s expertise. Will market HGL customers including the OSD, USACE, AEC, AFCEE, AFCESA, AFRPA, and NAVFAC. Limited travel required. Other Requirements: Certified Energy Manager; LEED AP. P.E. preferred. Requires business planning (strategy, organization & implementation) experience. Strong managerial, leadership, organizational, analytical, negotiating, interpersonal, technical, and decision-making skills. Drug Test Required, some travel required. MS Office; MS Project; building energy simulation modeling tools such as EnergyPlus and TRNSYS.
