The Director of Business Development is responsible for leading the development and growth of new business opportunities for the Westinghouse Solar patented technology.
This role will suit a self-motivated, results-oriented individual who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment; capable of developing new business relationships and has the vision and experience to identify growth potential opportunities with new accounts/market segments.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze solar market and competitive product landscape, and participate in the development of a plan of attack for specific business development channels;
Research, develop, review and report on strategies plans, partnerships licensing opportunities and new project developments which identify market opportunities;
Identify and influence key decision makers;
Assessing market conditions to identify necessary product and service offering modifications.

Excellent ability to identify, prospect and engage with high-level decision makers and to cultivate successful client relationships;
Experience working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions;
Intelligent, tech-savvy, hard-working and fun loving individuals;
Minimum 7 years Business-to-Business sales experience including proven experience penetrating established markets with entrenched suppliers, including customer planning and development sufficient to capture meaningful market share - Previous experience in renewable energy sales is a strong plus; and
BS in Business or related technical field (Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering) or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
