Key Responsibilities; Responsible for technical and project management of electrical improvement and/or energy related projects including Renewable Energy Projects.; Able to make decisions and recommendations with significant impact and some guidance; works with wide latitude for action and decision making authority.; Significant internal and external client interaction; acts a technical advisor to other groups. ; Develops, reviews, and signs proposals in accordance with company policy. ; Participates in guiding firm financially, technically, and administratively, including quality assurance, and technical excellence. ; Assists in the development and implementation of business plans.
; Represents the company with clients and at technical forums.; ; Basic/Required Qualifications; B.S. or M.S. Electrical Engineering.; 10 + years of related experience with B.S.; 8 + years with M.S. ; Professional registration or certification a plus; Knowledge and experience in the design and installation of building/plant power distribution systems, electrical equipment, as well as controls and instrumentation associated with Low Voltage Commercial/Industrial electrical systems and NEC Code requirements.
Associated construction experience a plus.; Experience with net metering planning and utility interconnect agreements associated with Renewable Energy Projects (PV solar, Wind, Cogen, etc). Experience with Medium and High voltage T&D systems.; Experience/Knowledge of Renewable Energy Systems, feasibility studies and detailed design preferred.; Experience with Energy Conservation Audits, identification of measures and energy savings calculations. ; Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects and personnel. ; Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to prepare complex reports and proposals.
; Capable of cross-selling electrical engineering capabilities to other AMEC offices.; Valid Drivers license required.; Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required. ; Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving |
