Dairyland Power Cooperative, an electric generation and transmission cooperative headquartered in La Crosse, Wisconsin seeks a Vice President, Generation.

Dairyland provides the electric power requirements and other services for 25 rural electric distribution cooperatives and 16 municipal utilities in the Upper Midwest.

This individual, reporting to the President and CEO, has overall responsibility for the daily operation and the development and implementation of long-term strategic initiatives for all of Dairyland's generation assets including fossil, hydro and renewables (1400 MW total).

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering or related field. Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible utility experience, preferably in power generation, required. Will consider other comprehensive production environment experience. (Preference given to experience in multiple phases of engineering disciplines related to electric generation, power system planning, controls engineering and system operations.)

Must have a general knowledge of utility environmental, regulatory, and regional reliability compliance requirements. Registration, or the ability to be registered, as a PE in Wisconsin highly desirable.
