Job Description: Candidates will provide Nuclear Planning Support to AF Global Strike Command

Duties:

Bomber and ICBM Operations, Training, STAN/EVAL, Weapons and Tactics: Assist the A3T division to develop, coordinate and publish AFGSC direction and guidance for formal and operational training, air weapons, tactics, Special Access Required and Electronic Combat (EC) programs for ICBM, B-2, B-52, and UH-1N/CVLSP forces

Bomber Operations Training: Assist A3TO branch in flight management and training matters. Assist with establishment and publishing of B-2 and B-52 Realistic Training and draft and consolidate information for the B-2 and B-52 Realistic Training Functional Area Manager (FAM) for submission

ICBM Current Operations: Provide assistance in the management of the ICBM Missile Alert Facility (MAF) Management and Maintenance Program. Draft documents and submissions for the ICBM FAM for the AFGSC/A3 SORTS program.

Nuclear Command, Control, and Communication: Provide advisory and assistance functions to the A3Y branch in scheduling, executing and evaluating strategic communications connectivity tests. Draft and coordinate guidance and policy concerning future NC3 plans.

Aircraft Maintenance Policy and Development: Provide technical and analytical assistance to bomber program issues and questions.

Deterrence and Strike Requirements: Assist in management of the B?2\B-52 weapon system and associated systems. To include managing operational user requests requirements generation and assisting the AFGSC efforts in PPBE and acquisition processes. Participate in Nuclear Surety Working Group process.

Assist AFGSC in Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Maintenance Policy Development: Assist in management of project/programs, objectives, and metrics and resolves critical problems and issues related to ICBM maintenance policy application for the MAJCOM and subordinate installations.

CONOPS: Assist in tracking and analyzing trends, requirements, and other key issues and analytical support to modifications on aircraft. Assist in AFGSC Capabilities Based Planning (CBP) and Capability Review and Risk Assessments (CRRA). Assist in authoring Nuclear Response and Global Strike CONOPS.

Nuclear Command, Control & Communication (NC3) Systems: Assist AFGSC in managing the requirements process defined by AFGSC/A3 and implemented by AFGSC/A6 .

Operations Plans: Assist with creating AFGSC plans supporting USSTRATCOM and other COCOM OPLANS and Time Phased Force and Deployment Data requirements.

Arms Control: Provide technical and analytical assistance on the operational impact of specific arms control agreements, i.e., Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), Open Skies Treaty, START/SORT, and any START/SORT follow-on agreements.

Requirements:

10- 12 years of experience in ICBMs or Bombers. Have the necessary Bomber or ICBM training, qualifications, and clearances to accomplish the appropriate tasks.
