Nuclear Project Engineer Employer: GDKN Corporation Job Location: Two Rivers , WI Cash Compensation: Job Description: Nuclear Engineer needed. * Seeking a Nuclear Engineer to support Security Project. * The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience with upgrade of Part 73.40, 45, 46, 54 nuclear physical security equipment and components. Position Description: * Position is for Nuclear Engineer who will be performing engineering reviews of external contractor documentation. * The individuals will be a site contact / interface for larger capital projects. * The interface will include site drawing retrieval, meeting facilitation and technical interface for the site. * The individual will become site modification qualified. * The Nuclear Engineers will work under the direction of the Nuclear Projects Engineering Manager. Primary Assignment – · Nuclear Engineer will provide project oversight and review of 100CFR Part 73 modifications (Security Strategy project). Secondary Assignment – · Nuclear Engineer would support other projects studies & modification development as required and qualified. · Will interface with all engineering disciplines, cost control and planning groups and others as necessary to meet project goals and schedules. Position Requires: · Bachelor’s – Engineering; Engineering degree or equivalent training and experience. Qualifications: · Plant Specifications & Design Evaluation & Analysis – Basic; · Power Plant Nuclear – Advanced; · Planning & Scheduling – Competent; · Written Communications – Advanced; · Quality Tools & Techniques – Advanced; · Decision Making – Competent; · Analytical Problem Solving – Expert; · Project / Team Leadership – Competent. · Experience in PWR design control is desirable.
