Job Description:	Job Description Siemens Wind Power is part of the business area Siemens Energy, Inc. and employs more than 3500 employees worldwide. Area Manager – Warranty Responsibilities: All issues related to Wind sites on a monthly basis to ensure the highest level of quality customer service; monthly reporting to internal and external customers; tracking of retrofit in responsible areas; monthly feedback for reporting to Denmark; maintain one point of contact towards customer including all contact to the customer at the site level; convey customer concerns to the Head of Area Management weekly; develop site budget; possess a clear understanding of the numbers received from the financial group to and make appropriate changes; provide weekly updates to the Head of Area Management with service scheduled and outstanding issues and customer questions; deliver service schedule with weekly planning once a year, and once a week if there are any changes; ensure defect returns are sent off site with appropriate documentation; ensure the site personal follow all internal guidelines regarding safety; keep Head of Area Management informed if a turbine is standing more than 24 hours; report failure on main components - gear, blades, main bearing, generator etc, immediately; ensure open flow of information, and transfer of knowledge in a continuous improvement environment which promotes transfer of knowledge and learning from personal experience. Bachelors Degree Required. Masters Preferred.
