Senior Power Project Manager

Job Description: Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related Science Bachelors Degree.

Twenty years experience in fossil-fueled (preferably both coal-fired and natural gas fired turbine peaking and combined cycle applications) power generation and retrofit engineering.

Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and designers with diverse experience levels and backgrounds to successfully execute due diligence assessments, front-end engineering and detailed design for new plants miscellaneous retrofits, including emissions controls upgrades. Possessing a depth of power industry experience, engineering, and Project related judgement to provide credibility to efforts to market URS power design capabilities.

Requires excellent communication skills and constant client interface.

Will require proposal development, analyzing and reporting of project progress, and successful negotiating skills for contract and change management.

Job Description :
Supporting acquisition and managing engineering execution of new or upgrade power related projects.

Regular and frequent written and oral communications with clients at different client organizational levels to assure client satisfaction and for potential of acquiring additional new work.

Managing projects through teams using strong communication, project management and people skills.

Coordination and/or oversight of construction and startup activities may be required.

Operating plant engineering and management experience applied to accurately understand client situational needs and to assure work success for client satisfaction.

May include oversight of multiple projects and project managers.
