Area Management Head – Wind Service Americas
Act as Area Department Head with full responsibility in the following areas:
- All issues related to Wind sites on a monthly basis to ensure the highest level of quality customer service.
- Monthly reporting to internal and external customers.
- Tracking of retrofit in responsible areas.
- Provide monthly feedback for reporting to Denmark.
- Maintain one point of contact towards customer including all contact to the customer at the site level.
- Administration of customer concerns weekly; develop area management budget.
- Possess a clear understanding of the numbers received from the financial group and annual budget planning.
- Oversee and administer delivery of service schedule with weekly planning once a year, and once a week if there are any changes.
- Oversight of defect returns with appropriate documentation; administration of process to oversee site personal follow all internal guidelines regarding safety.
- Administration of operation capacity of all turbines; administer and oversight of failure on main components - gear, blades, main bearing, generator etc.
- Ensure open flow of information, and transfer of knowledge in a continuous improvement environment which promotes transfer of knowledge and learning from personal experience.

Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP)
The Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) is designed to recruit, train, develop, and evaluate those individuals who will be key future technology and operational engineering leaders of Siemens. Our approach is to offer each ELDP participant a variety of assignments while providing the training necessary for each to advance and add value throughout their career.
All rotations will support the following businesses within Siemens Industry, Inc.:
Drive Technologies- consolidates the activities of Above NEMA Motors and NEMA motors, as well as Medium and Low Voltage Drives addressing the customer’s need for horsepower, speed, torque control and intelligence.
Low Voltage Distribution - has technologies ranging from circuit protection and energy management systems to controls, industrial software and totally integrated power solutions.
This extensive two-year rotational program consists of 4 six-month rotations throughout key areas of Engineering. ELDP is intended for graduates seeking opportunities to work on product design, engineering, and quality testing for the construction market.
Program Description:

Product Design and Development - develop concepts and designs for new products and design-to-cost for existing products.

Engineering Testing - gain valuable experience with a wide variety of Siemens products, testing methods, and exposure to regulatory and agency standards.

Product/Quality Engineering - develop engineering skills through maintenance of existing products, agency certification testing, design implementation, and product yield improvement.
*
Product Management - gain detailed knowledge of products in the Siemens Industry portfolio. Possible projects include Product Roadmap Development, Voice of the Customer, New Product Introduction, Customer Support, and Competitive Analysis.
