Southern Region Operations Manager - Renewable Energy

Job Description: Job Summary



· Responsible for ensuring safe working conditions and environmental compliance.
. Responsible for administering WMRE operations policies within assigned territories.
· Assist LFTGE plant manager in coordination of major repairs.
· Perform minimum monthly visits to each plant.
· Perform quarterly inspections of facilities to ensure facility compliance with WMRE operating standards.
· Administers PDS goals to plant managers while consistently monitoring progress towards goals.
· Train and support plant personnel on proper operation and maintenance of all plant equipment.
· Oversees daily activity of plant managers
. Supervises performance of plant managers
. Responsible for safety and operations training

Qualifications

Mandatory Education Requirements ( Schooling, certification, licensure that is essential to success in the position)
High school education
Desired Education Requirements:
Vocational or technical school specializing in internal combustion engines or troubleshooting of electrical circuits and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
Mandatory Experience Requirements ( Work experience that is essential to success in the position)
3 years of operations experience with Caterpillar engines that utilize landfill gas as a fuel source.
· Extensive knowledge of operating and maintenance procedures of CAT 3516 engines.
· 3 years experience with electric power generation from reciprocating engines.
· 3 years experience diagnosing paralleling switchgear. This should include reading schematics and ability to trace circuits
