Our Nuclear Power Group has an immediate need for a knowledgeable CHF TEST ENGINEER in its mPower Development and Testing Group.
Duties:
This position is responsible for preparing and reviewing test procedures, test plans, systems, and instrumentation; oversee conduct of testing and ensure quality of test data. Specific duties will include: • Planning test program, preparing test plans, procedures, and reports. • Oversee Critical Heat Flux Test program • Prepare test plans, reports, and procedures without supervision • Lead and guide less experienced engineers
Requirements:
BSME, BSEE, or BSNE as well as a minimum eight to ten years of relevant, testing experience. Must be experienced with engineering design, fluid systems, thermodynamics and process instrumentation, and able to effectively communicate design ideas orally and in writing. Proficiency in computer programs such as Visual Basic, Fortran, C++ are required as is the ability to develop analysis methodologies and solve problems without supervision. Will need to be able to communicate with diverse technical and non-technical functions including customers, regulators, and subcontractors. In order to be successful, ideal candidate will have experience as a significant technical contributor on complex project teams, able to work with diverse people and tight schedules. Commercial nuclear plant or power plant industry experience would be most desirable.
