| Job Description: |
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong analytical and problem solving skills willing to take on new project responsibilities. The principle responsibilities for the opening involve the following:
· Prepare cost estimates for all jobs based on customer specifications
· Assist managers in initial sequencing of field operations, outlining components such as labor, materials and equipment
· Help to sell projects and interact with the field
· Verify effective construction techniques at the time of bid and during construction
· Prospect for opportunities
This opportunity requires the following key skill sets:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications; or equivalent experience
· Experience estimating structured cabling and/or electrical construction
· Knowledge of cost accounting, cabling processes, supply and purchasing methods
· Knowledge of Telecommunications Industry standards including BICSI, TIA/EIA and National Electrical Code
· Technical proficiency with Windows platform, Microsoft Office Suite, and CAD
· Exceptional math and verbal communication skills
· Must be able to work independently and manage tasks/timelines |
