The Project Manager will oversee scheduling, forecasting, submittals, technical drawings, claims, cost recovery, and client relations for complex hydropower refurbishment projects.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Develop, monitor and maintain schedules for proposals, projects or other tasks.
* Oversee project execution and administration.
* Manage schedules and costs.
* Handle technical submittals, manuals, and drawings.
* Coordinate field personnel.
* Effect cost recovery.
* Maintain excellent client relations.
Requirements
* A B.S. degree in engineering or business. A technical degree is preferred.
* 2 - 4 years of experience in project forecasting, planning and coordinating.
* Proven success in customer/vendor relations and negotiations is essential.
* Must be a savvy negotiator with excellent organizational skills.
* Demonstrated project scheduling proficiency using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
* Proficiency in Outlook and MS-Office, with ability to quickly learn new software applications.
* Must be able to travel up to 50%.
