| Job Description: |
Promote the success of the business unit by generating energy services sales and revenue for the company. This position will work closely with the business unit leaders to advance its business plan and revenue goals.
* Managing sales responsibilities according to the direction of the Vice President, Energy Sales
* Developing leads and prospects independently
* Possible sales efforts involving the collaboration of sales personnel from other company business units
* Achieving sales and prospect development goals
* Maintaining reports regarding sales development activity
* Professional interaction with PAETEC Energy’s partners/suppliers
Qualifications:
* Four-year college degree preferred
* Energy industry experience preferable or minimum of 5 years in outside sales role in a competitive service industry (such as Telecommunications).
* Proven ability and desire to conduct cold calling and the efforts required to develop a consistently strong funnel of sales prospects
* Excellent communication, presentation, qualifying, closing, and negotiation skills
* Demonstrated track record of solution based selling focused on closing customer opportunities
* Proven track record of working and building relationships at all levels
* A self-starter and adept at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
* Command of technical information related to products and service offerings
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
