The Extended Power Uprate Project has an immediate need in their facility. RESPONSIBLE FOR RESEARCHING DESIGN AND LICENSING BASIS ISSUES, DEVELOPING UFSAR UPDATES, PREPARING AND COORDINATING NRC SUBMITTALS IN SUPPORT OF NUCLEAR PLANTS. WORK INCLUDES EVALUATION OF DESIGN CHANGE PACKAGES FOR CONFORMANCE OR DEVELOPING NRC SUBMITTALS FOR CHANGES TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OR PLANT LICENSING BASIS DOCUMENTS. MUST BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY APPLICABLE INDUSTRY STANDARDS AND NUCLEAR REGULATIONS AND PROPERLY APPLY THEM TO ENGINEERING OUTPUT DOCUMENTS. MUST BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY APPLICABLE INDUSTRY STANDARDS AND NUCLEAR REGULATIONS AND PROPERLY APPLY THEM TO ENGINEERING OUTPUT DOCUMENTS. MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE; BE CAPABLE OF COORDINATING WORK WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL GROUPS AS WELL AS MULTIPLE VENDORS AND NRC STAFF. MUST HAVE STRONG PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS AND MUST BE ABLE TO RESOLVE CONFLICTS. EXPERIENCE IN SUPERVISING OR POWER UPRATES IS A PLUS. A/E OR NSSS AND UTILITY EXPERIENCE, AND ORIGINAL PLANT LICENSING PREFERRED. MUST BE A SELF STARTER AND BE CAPABLE OF WORKING INDEPENDENTLY. POSITIONS REQUIRES: OVERTIME AND SHIFT WORK DURING PLANT OUTAGES AND AS REQUIRED TO SUPPORT PLANT OPERATIONS. QUALIFICATIONS: BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN ENGINEERING OR SCIENCE AND PE LICENSE, ADVANCED DEGREE AND SRO PREFERRED. ANALYTICAL PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS, EFFECTIVE ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS |
