| Job Description: |
Responsible for the wet process operation and development for the p-n junction of CIGS based solar cells. Interface with other engineering groups to improve the overall process flow and solar cell performance.
Duties:
- Operating wet processes for the production and development of CIGS solar cell
- Develop wet process, process parameters, chemistry, and general approaches
- Study the film interfaces with a focus on improving the junction and device
performance
- Support bring up, qualification and operation of newly introduced process
equipment for pilot line manufacturing
- Perform DOE, CPK analysis, Gage R&R studies on the wet process
- Document and communicate experiment results, tool performance, tool design
improvements and process definitions to the rest of the engineering team
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in a related technical discipline, ChemE, Chemistry, Material
Science. An advanced degree in a related field is preferred
- Willing to work on both wet chemical bench and process equipment
- Following all safety and environmental procedures as well as housekeeping
standards
- Experience with Metrology tools such as XRF and SEM
- Some experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of
Experiments (DOE). Knowledge of JMP s a plus
- Knowledge of fluid and chemical simulation software(s), such as Metlab and
COMSOL
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) while
working in a data-driven team environment |
