Job Description: Position Summary:
Responsible for leading corporate health, safety, process safety, security, and environmental initiatives/projects across the Valero Renewables sites including the evaluation and monitoring of the Company’s compliance with federal (OSHA, DOT, EPA, DHS), state and local safety and environmental rules and regulations. Translate corporate HSE strategies into tactical plans and guidelines. Ensure that the programs, plans and policies, comply with local, state, and federal rules and regulations. Assist in development of corporate standards, policies and procedures for emergency response, site security and disaster response.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in engineering, environmental science, safety or related bachelor’s degree program. Two years of proven experience in environmental/safety compliance or similar role. Experience should be in the area of industry, energy or manufacturing.
