Job Description: Entergy Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, is an integrated energy company engaged primarily in electric power production and retail distribution operations.​ We own and operate power plants, and are the second-largest nuclear generator in the United States.​ This position will be located at our James A Fitzpatrick Nuclear Power Plant in Oswego, NY.​

This posting is for a prospective Enexus and EquaGen Company Position.​

-- Staffing decisions will be made in a manner anticipated to result in the future success of both Enexus and EquaGen, while maintaining continued success of the Entergy System.​

-- Job offers for Enexus and EquaGen positions will be contingent on several factors, including the formation of the Enexus and EquaGen legal entities and the consummation of the spin transaction, which is anticipated to occur in the latter part of 2008.​

-- External candidates who accept offers will become employed by the Entergy System pending the spin transaction and internal candidates will remain with their Entergy System employer pending the spin transaction.​

-- Further information regarding compensation, benefits, relocation will be provided during the selection process.​

Responsibilities:

* Perform project cost and cash flow forecast.​
* Supervise project installation and inspection activities.​
* Implement projects in accordance with regulatory requirements, and company policies and procedures.​
* Coordinate activities to minimize plant and system downtime and maximize plant power generation.​
* Develop and maintain tools to improve the efficiency of performing project work.​
* Review and evaluate performance of the project staff and contractors.​
* Oversee procedures and documentation which govern and control project activities.​
* Recommend necessary project training as required.​
* Propose project changes which improve efficiency and safety.​
* Interface with regulatory and industry representatives on behalf of project activities.​
* Communicate technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing.​
* Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization.​

Required Qualifications:

10 years experience in nuclear power design, construction, maintenance, project management, operations, P&SO, or equivalent.​ B.​S.​ degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline or equivalent experience.​ (Equivalent experience is defined as demonstrated success at the Manager level.​ A degree is very strongly preferred.​) Technical proficiency in engineering project management.​ Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation.​ Outstanding communication, conflict management, and change management skills.​

Desired Qualifications:

Proficiency with current computer business applications.​ Professional engineering license.​ SRO License or certification on a BWR or PWR.​
