Construction Job Title Construction Assistant Field Safety Director Construction Assistant Field Safety Director Job Description Our National Safety Director will be responsible for: • Company-wide safety leadership and sharing of safety best practices across all Tradesmen International regions • Development, implementation and management of a national safety program and complementary safety intiatives. In addition, you will be required to measure the effectiveness of such programs. • Supporting corporate safety training initiatives and helping offices develop and maintain localized safety programs to coincide with corporate objectives • Helping ensure our craft professionals, in all trades, are among the industry's most safety-minded workforces in the construction industry • Supporting our effort to ensure all our craftsmen employees successfully complete specific OSHA Construction Outreach Training (as a condition of hire) • Ensuring select field office management successfully completes OSHA 500 training and maintains appropriate OSHA compliance • Facilitating company-wide efforts to market safety-related services to our construction clientele and their employees • Minimum of 10 years Construction-related experience • 5 Years Management Experience • Strong knowledge of OSHA Rules & Regulations as they apply to the construction industry. Marine industry safety knowledge is a plus • Experience with OSHA's 10- and 30-Hour Construction Outreach Training programs as well as the OSHA 500 Train-the-Trainer program. You must already have successfully completed these programs • Demonstrated ability to establish clear company-wide safety-oriented objectives and to develop, implement and monitor national safety programs that meet these objectives • Proven ability to provide guidance to field/local office management, helping them develop and maintain local programs with goals consistent with national initiatives • Superior communication skills
