What are some tips to consider when selecting an construction executive? What makes for a good construction executive hire is more than great credentials and a perfect construction resume. Good construction executive selection involves assessing the construction executive's overall attitude, performance and business style to make sure it is compatible with the existing staff and overall construction employer. Selection should involve multiple decision makers (team approach) who plan the ideal profile in advance, and evaluate prospects from different perspectives. Decision makers should be those that will work directly with the selected construction executive, such as a trusted client, immediate construction employer, CEO, peer and possibly a key subordinate.
