Are there things I can do to improve the morale in the office?

Morale is often an emotional matter that helps people feel positive about their job, the marketplace and the construction employer they work for. Morale can be damaged when a key employee quits or is terminated, of when the firm loses a big account. Winners know there are failures and disappointments in every market and on every road to success.
The key is to keep focused on the long-term goal and the fact that each setback is only one step closer to success for those who are committed.
Morale building programs can involve bringing in a motivational speaker, having the president or CEO make a positive ?big picture? statement of the firms commitment and success to its goals, corporate parties and events for team building, open forums for employees to express their feelings and concerns, etc.
