Columbia Energy Partners LLC (CEP) is an independent developer of wind power projects in Washington and Oregon. Our first project - the 5MW Mar-Lu Wind Farm - will be constructed in 2005 on our Arlington, Oregon site. The site can expand and has transmission pending agreements for up to 200MW. Interconnection will be to BPA's 230kV McNary-Santiam line on site. Another developer with plans to construct 100MW on abutting property in 2005 will also make use of this substation. CEP currently has some 30,000 acres under agreement for development, and has had more than 40,000 additional acres under agreement for possible development over the past three years. CEP is committed to becoming a leading player in the NW renewable energy field through innovative partnerships and approaches that bring partners together for successful projects. CEP recently announced a partnership with the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) for its planned 104MW project in Arlington. The tribes purchased an equity stake in the project and will add to CEP's resources in finalizing the development process. CEP is based in Clark County"
