Daylight Resources Trust (Daylight he Trust) is an oil and natural gas energy trust. It operates in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. The Trust was formed as a result of the merger between Daylight Energy Trust and Sequoia Oil & Gas Trust. During the year ended December 31, 2007, Daylight?s total production volumes averaged 20,583 barrel of oil equivalent per day. In 2007, Daylight drilled a total of 44 gross (27.3 net) wells with 100% success. Daylight?s properties are Peace River Arch Properties include Cecil, Elmworth, and Sinclair, West Central properties, including Pine Creek, Kaybob, Pembina, Sturgeon, Oldman and Windfall, Eastern properties include Wildmere, Bon Accord and Chipman and Southern properties include Chigwell and Sylvan Lake. In September 2008, Daylight announced that it had closed the acquisition of Athlone Energy Ltd. In September 2008, Daylight announced the closing of the sale of its Sturgeon Lake asset to Cadence Acquisition Inc.
