Ecotech Energy Systems is a locally owned and operated solar electric contractor. Drawing on projects and experience from five continents, Ecotech designs and installs premium solar electric systems. We work closely with each client to develop a customized solar energy system suited to individual project requirements and budget. President and founder Dana Brandt earned his electrical engineering degree from Seattle Pacific University. He traveled to Europe where he earned a Master of Science degree with Honors in Renewable Energy. He has been involved in renewable energy projects in eight countries on five continents. His work on AC mini-grid technology is published in Home Power Magazine and earned him an invitation to represent the US at the Montreal 2006 Symposium on Microgrids. He has also lectured on renewable energy at Seattle Pacific University, Western Washington University and in the Dominican Republic.
