Energy Fuels Inc., formerly known as Volvanic Metals Exploration, is a Canada-based mineral exploration and development company. The principal business activity of the Company is mineral exploration, development, and mining of uranium and vanadium property interests located in the States of Colorado, Utah, and Arizona through its wholly owned United States subsidiary, Energy Fuels Resources Corporation (EFRC), and with gold and base metals properties located in Newfoundland and Quebec. The Company holds a 100% interest in the Newfoundland VMS property known as Burnt Pond, which consists of 30 mining claims totaling 725 hectares. Energy Fuels owns or controls the entire area surrounding the Whirlwind Mine, known as the Beaver Mesa/John Brown Uranium District. In July 2007, Energy Fuels acquired the 880 acre site for its Pinon Ridge Uranium/Vanadium Mill, located in western Montrose County, Colorado.(Source: ARS)
