Essential Energy Services Trust (Essential) is an open-ended, limited purpose investment trust. It provides rig and transport-based production services to oil and gas producers across western Canada, including service rigs, coil tubing, rod rigs, swab rigs, vacuum truck, pressure truck, tank truck, hydro-vac, steaming and hot oiling along with other related services. It operates through eight operating entities, which offer a range of services focused on the maintenance and enhancement of production from oil and gas wells and other related services to ensure stable cash flows for Essential?s unitholders. In July 2007, it acquired four private energy service companies, Anderson Well Servicing (1986) Ltd., Blue-Vac Vacuum Truck Service, Canadian Coil Tubing Inc. and Redneck Flushbys Ltd. In April 2008, the strategic combination of Essential and Builders Energy Services Trust was completed. The combined trust will operate under the name Essential Energy Services Trust.
