ETDE and INIS form joint ad hoc working groups on such topics as common set of rules, authorities, and procedures for the two agencies. Operating Agent distributes the ETDE Procedures Manual as a quality control tool and reference for members. After reelection, Alan Heyes, U.K., and Kurt Bürk, Germany, continue as ETDE chair and vice chair. In April, delegates hold 7th ExCo meeting in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and 3rd TWG meeting in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Delegates hold 8th ExCo meeting in October in Tokyo, Japan.
