Momentum was founded in 2005 as a sister company of David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA) to pursue development and investment opportunities in renewable energy. We specialize in propelling renewable energy projects forward from initial concept to development and financial completion. Momentum is currently active across the U.S. including Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Minnesota, and California. We are initially focused on developing, owning, and operating a portfolio of community wind projects between 10-50 MW. Additionally, Momentum is actively seeking investment opportunities in wind, biofuels, biomass, small hydro, solar, and other renewable energy projects developed by others. Our parent company, DEA, is a 1,000-person engineering design firm based in Portland, Oregon, with 21 offices across the U.S. active in energy, land, water, and transportation. As a sister company, Momentum brings significant technical and regulatory expertise to the early stages of project development. Through our parent company, we offer a wide range of environmental and engineering consulting services for renewable and traditional energy generation facilities, including transmission, distribution, and substation engineering design; interconnection; permitting and siting facilitation; site assessment; environmental and technical studies; site civil, and survey services.
