Precision Energy and Technology, LLC (PET) is a manufacturing technology company with an emphasis primarily in proton exchange membrane fuel cells and solid oxide fuel cells. The principle focus is on manufacturing technology for the production of fuel cells and their components. PET has considerable depth in utilizing such tools as QFD, Lean Manufacturing, Value Engineering, DFMA, Design FMEAs, Production FMEAs, and Design of Experiments for the Fuel Cell industry. PET's President, Thomas Willis, has experience in Marketing, Engineering, and General Management with such companies as Leybold Vacuum (German), Invensys Appliance Controls (British), Welbilt Corporation, Pillsbury, and Rockwell International. His experience covers semiconductor, appliance controls, food equipment, food, and aerospace industries, as well as international and LBO/IPO experience. Thomas has worked with Ohio companies and universities such as TMI, SOFCo, EMTEC, Faraday Technologies, NCC, GrafTech, EWI and CWRU, Ohio University and University of Toledo. He also has relationships outside the state with Westinghouse, Kenyon Technology, AMI, and NCMS. PET's facilities are in the Mound Advanced Technology Center where numerous tools and equipment related to the development and production of MEAs, Bipolar plates, PEM fuel cells systems are being utilized. Such manufacturing equipment as a 50 ton Vacuum Thermal Press, Western Magnum laminators, 12 ton presses, WTA reel to reel systems, and various quality equipment, such as reel to reel microscope examining table"
