Peyto Energy Trust (the Trust) is a Canada-based energy trust engaged, through its direct and indirect subsidiaries, in the acquisition, exploration, development and production of oil and natural gas in Western Canada. The Trust?s portfolio of assets includes exploration, exploitation and development opportunities located primarily in the Deep Basin of Alberta. All of the oil and gas assets of the Trust are held in the Peyto Energy Limited Partnership and Peyto Energy Administration Corp. is the administrator of the Trust. During the year ended December 31, 2007, the Trust?s average daily production was 20,669 barrels of oil equivalent. As at December 31, 2007, the total proved plus probable reserves were 164.8 million barrels of oil equivalent with a reserve life of 21 years.
