Sahara Energy Ltd. (Sahara) is a junior resource exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of natural resource properties (primarily oil and gas). The Company?s business is focused on the exploration and evaluation of various oil and gas properties in Saskatchewan and Alberta. During the year ended December 31, 2007, Sahara farmed out two wells at Hayter, Alberta, resulting in the drilling of two wells that were cased for McLaren heavy oil production. The wells were not completed at December 31, 2007. The Company averaged 138 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd), which consisted of 88 barrels of oil per day (bopd) of heavy oil, 40 bopd light oil and 100 million cubic feet per day (mcfd) gas. At Tangent, Alberta, its Montney oil discovery produces a net 30 bopd. Sahara sold its interest at Tangent in January 2008.
