SemGroup Energy Partners, L.P. is a master limited partnership. Common units of our company began publicly trading on the NASDAQ under the symbol SGLP during July 2007. It is our vision to use our strategically located assets to be a leading provider of midstream services in the energy industry. We provide midstream services to our customers by focusing in three operational areas: Terminalling and Storage Pipeline Gathering and Transportation Services Trucking and Producer Services Like many other master limited partnerships, we do not have officers, directors or employees. Instead, our operations and activities are managed by our general partner, SemGroup Energy Partners G.P., L.L.C. The directors and officers of our general partner oversee our operations. SemGroup, L.P., our parent company, has dedicated approximately 300 of its employees to our operations, and we reimburse SemGroup for those employees' salaries and benefits. The diverse customer base SGLP serves includes our parent company, independent producers, marketers and crude oil refiners.
